Senior Technical and Research Advisor
Iain Gillott is the founder of iGR and the Senior Technical and Research Advisor for WIA. As a market strategy consultancy focused on the 5G wireless and mobile communications industry and the communications infrastructure industry, iGR has built a consulting practice based on the ability to research and analyze the impact new wireless, mobile and communications infrastructure technologies, including 5G, have on the industry, on vendors’ competitive positioning, and on our clients’ strategic business plans.
In his role at WIA, Iain leads our research efforts, including Wireless Infrastructure By The Numbers, as well as the Innovation and Technology Council. He also is a member of the Federal Communications Commission’s Technical Advisory Council. He has been in the industry for more than 30 years.
